Welcome to Palisade Basecamp RV Resort, the Grand Valley’s new, alternative premier camping destination. This quaint, 14-acre property borders the Colorado River, nestled between fruit orchards and vineyards. Just a mile from historic downtown Palisade, Basecamp opens the door to the plethora of outdoor adventures, festivals, dining, concerts, wineries, distilleries and breweries the valley has to offer.
Co-owners Keith and Brandi Ehlers and Bart and Brooke McElley are all Grand Valley natives. They pride themselves in repurposing non-agricultural riverfront land and value collaboration with other Palisade locals to make the Basecamp experience truly unique.
“It’s meant to be your ‘Base Camp,’” says Keith Ehlers. “Come here, go and enjoy the area, then come back home. Our guests love the fresh produce, the 360-degree views and the twilight hours which are magic. It’s not your average RV park.”
