Because many people have been feeling a bit cooped up recently and have more time on their hands, now is a great opportunity to escape into the wilderness with Peter Heller’s newest release, The River — a mystery-thriller that chronicles the journey of long-time best friends Wynn and Jack, who strike out to canoe the Maskwa River in Canada.
What began as a leisurely trip quickly turns into and Colorado natives. On their journey, the duo hears a couple arguing, so they go to inform them of the traverse becomes more interesting the longer they continue their journey.

River Runner Pale Ale is named after a local guide to have the beer on tap back in 2009. While reading The River, I found myself transported to the banks of a river and wanting a beverage to pair with my daydream.
River Runner Pale Ale has enough hops to satisfy my normal IPA palate with a solid malt backbone that had me craving more with every sip.
