This daypack effortlessly takes you from everyday commuting to a light trek in the mountains — what more could a Coloradan ask for?

Fjällräven is an outdoor clothing and equipment company born out of Sweden. With store fronts in Boulder, Castle Rock, Denver and Vail, in addition to online shopping options for those further west, the brand is one to watch in the outdoor industry not only for its high-quality products, but commitment to sustainability.

“By producing on nature’s terms; by developing clothing and gear that lasts for generations; by placing strict standards on ourselves and our suppliers; and by introducing more people to nature and its myriad benefits, we hope to leave our basecamp in better shape than we found it,” their mission reads.

The Ulvö 23 daypack comes in four earthy colors and is composed of Bergshell fabric with 100% recycled nylon. It features a large front pocket ideal for storing gear and a padded computer sleeve that fits a 15-inch laptop. The bag feels secure overall, although I wish the laptop sleeve had a Velcro strap to keep it snug. My favorite part is the ventilating airmesh that allows you to thrive in variable conditions, whether it’s sunny or raining and everything in between. The minimalist, unisex style makes it versatile and easy to sport.

Priced at $110, I can tell even after a few uses that it’s worth the investment — it’s built to last.
