Carboy Winery Celebrates New Roots in Palisade and a Fourth Colorado Location
Carboy Winery continues its expansion throughout Colorado with the grand opening celebration of its Palisade location on April 23, 2022. With roots in Denver, Littleton and Breckenridge, the Palisade location will be the winery’s fourth space.
The celebration will be a full week of specials, festivities and promotions. It begins on Saturday, April 23 with the Barrel into Spring event, and concludes on Saturday, April 30 with the Sip into Spring event.
The winery is situated on the Mt. Garfield Estate and offers gorgeous views of Grand Valley’s etched cliffs and rolling skies. Carboy CEO Kevin Webber says the venue “feels like home out in the valley, and life begins to slow down to a sip — pun intended.”
Visitors can expect a standing tasting bar and retail space on the ground level, seated spaces for elevated tastings on the second level and a rooftop patio overlooking the estate vineyards facing north toward the Bookcliffs. Plus, Carboy’s award-winning wines will be on tap in the tasting rooms, poured from stainless steel brite tanks, “a sustainability practice that's become a defining attribute of their business,” the company states.
Carboy is dedicated to creating wine in a way that respects the environment. “As we continue to grow, we're putting an increased focus on sustainability and investing in a blend of approaches across all operations and supply chains,” Webber says. From mindful growing and harvesting to sustainable packaging, the winemakers value transparency and believe that sustainability is the key to a more resilient industry and future.
Webber proclaims that the Carboy experience is “community and member driven so everyone leaves feeling like a part of our family.” The enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff, rustic-chic design and unique wines and offerings make Carboy Winery a vibrant enjoyment.
Wine lovers will have the opportunity to savor sips of some of Colorado’s most delightful wines, harvested from Carboy’s two vineyards and from other local growers, at the new Carboy Winery at Mt. Garfield. Webber invites visitors to get lost in the liveliness of the winery. “We love experimenting with new varieties and styles to make wine fun and exciting, and we pair it with food and adventure,” he says. “What could be more Colorado than that?”
