If I’m headed to the mountains for the weekend or to the desert for a quick trip, I always reach for this pack. I can comfortably fit my laptop, chargers, planner, toiletry bag and enough clothes for two days with a little room left for a few snacks or gear for my dog.

This puffy is stuffed with 1000 fill-power grey goose down to keep you warm while staying incredibly light. This jacket even packs down into its own pocket for easy storing. LIVSN is a great brand for multi-use and high quality pants. I’m a big fan of their Trail Tights but if you’re looking for a more polished look the Flex Canvas Pants are a good option. When packing for a trip, I try my best to include items that have lots of versatility so I can pack less!
I brought this backpack as a carry on for my two-week trip to Italy. I packed it to the brim and carried it through the streets of Venice and up the mountains surrounding Lake Como with ease. Though this backpack doesn’t have a waist belt, it distributes weight evenly and doesn’t put massive stress on your shoulders, even if you pack it to absolute capacity.
