Bottle To Mural Street Art In Silverthorne — Newest Collectors Art Series From Breckenridge Distillery Features Work By Sandra Fettingis

For the past three years, Breckenridge Distillery has been combining the arts of blending whiskey and painting by partnering with local Colorado artists to not only create the label for limited-edition whiskey blends but also to create pieces of public art in Colorado.

This year, the new Breckenridge PX Naranja Cask Finish Whiskey is co-created with local Colorado artist Sandra Fettingis. The artwork created by Fettingis is printed on the bottle and featured in mural form in Colorado’s newest arts district in Silverthorne.

Fettingis is a Denver-based muralist and installation artist focused on creating work for the public realm through geometric patterning. She has created more than 80 large-scale artworks for public and private collections across the nation. Fettingis pushes her practice creatively and professionally by experimenting with new materials, taking on projects outside of Colorado and pushing the visual language of abstraction through line and geometric minimalism inspired by architecture and our natural world.

The PX Naranja Cask Finish Whiskey hits fall right, with a smooth aroma that opens up to stonefruit and candied mandarin orange peel. The palate resonates with raisin and fig with a background of orange marmalade, finishing with a light cinnamon spice balanced by matured oak.
