In exciting news for Colorado wine enthusiasts, All Day Verdé from Sauvage Spectrum and Spoke+Blossom has secured a coveted gold medal at the 2024 Colorado Governor’s Cup. This prestigious competition, hosted by the Colorado Wine Industry Development Board (CWIDB), brings together the state’s top winemakers and showcases the best of Colorado’s burgeoning wine industry.

The competition’s panel of judges hail from across the country and include some of the most esteemed experts in the wine world, further enhancing the prestige of this award. The gold medal win established All Day Verdé as a standout in this year’s Colorado Uncorked event held on Nov. 1, 2024.

“Our second vintage of All Day Verdé has proven to be a consistent hit in such a short time,” says Patric Matysiewski, co-founder of Sauvage Spectrum. “We’ve noticed Gen Z has taken a liking to the innovative format and untraditional field blend of our premium estate grown grapes. The 2023 bottling features lesser known varietals like albariño, grüner veltliner, pinot gris and chenin blanc. Picked early with lower sugars to combat global warming, this is a true taste of Colorado’s high desert wine country.”

The wine’s unique blend delivers a bright, crisp experience with hints of fizz, white melon, gooseberry and lime blossom.

“All Day Verdé’s gold medal victory is a shining example of the exceptional quality and innovation coming out of Colorado’s wine country,” says Bobby L’Heureux, Spoke+Blossom co-owner and direct of partnerships.

This eco-conscious wine, priced at $14 per 375mL bottle, is available both at the Sauvage Spectrum tasting rooms in Palisade and Ouray, and online at sauvagespectrum.com.
