The Mountain Games, renowned for celebrating human-powered mountain sports, active outdoor lifestyles and a deep-rooted connection to nature, is assembling a small team of sponsored athlete ambassadors. This initiative aims to foster a mutually beneficial partnership between the Mountain Games and athletes who embody its core values.

What does it take to be an Athlete Ambassador?

If you're nodding along to the event tagline "Athletes, Art, Music, Mountains," actively engage in mountain sports and have a penchant for adventure, you're on the right track. The Mountain Games is seeking individuals deeply ingrained in the outdoor community, with a fervent love for the mountains and a commitment to eco-consciousness.

“Whether you're a biking buff, a trailblazing runner, a climbing connoisseur, a whitewater warrior, a fishing fanatic, a slackline savant, a disc golf devotee or a dog-loving athlete, there's a place for you on our team,” says event director Dave Dressman. “Bonus points are awarded to multi-disciplinary athletes who seamlessly blend sports with art, music and mountain lifestyle.  And, you do not need to be a pro. We are equally excited to align with avid outdoor enthusiasts and weekend warriors. So if the Mud Run is your jam, but you possess a wondrous spirit of adventure, please get on our radar.”

Residing within the continental U.S. is a must, as the Mountain Games is looking for ambassadors who can actively represent the Mountain Games brand year-round, both on and off the event stage.

“A positive attitude, a genuine enthusiasm for collaboration and a commitment to environmental stewardship are non-negotiable traits we seek in our ambassadors,” adds Dressman.
