Demolition Time At Grand Junction High School

A friend called to tell me that I needed to get over to Grand Junction High School, as it was being demolished and she knew I’d be disappointed if I didn’t get any pictures of it. She was right, so I headed over there immediately. I wasn’t surprised to see another person taking photos, but I was surprised to learn it was a student. Dylan Rytting, a junior at GJHS, is taking what he calls “side-by-side” photos. He is sorry to see the old building go. “It’s my favorite old building in Grand Junction,” he added wistfully.
