Gear Hub: Merry People Bobbi Rain Boot

Merry People has created the outdoorsy Coloradan’s dream: a stylish gumboot that actually delivers in functionality and durability.

As of late, my outfits have consisted of black leggings and an oversize knit sweater — put-together enough for Zoom meetings, but cozy enough for days at home. What I’ve found with Merry People’s Bobbi Rain Boot is that it is the perfect accessory to level up any outfit. Rain, snow or wind, these everyday boots are comfortable and so adorable that I wish more people got to see me wear them.

The Bobbi Rain Boot comes in eight colors and my favorite is the mustard yellow shade. The quality of these shoes is unmatched. I’ve experimented with wearing them on nature walks in activewear and by dressing them up with jeans and a warm top for patio meals. They’ve succeeded in all situations thus far; for this reason, they are kept at the front of my closet. Those with busy, active lifestyles know how great it is to have a day-to-night, indoor-to-outdoor boot.

I love that it is fully waterproof and vegan. Other features include flexible 4-millimeter neoprene lining, arch support and quality natural rubber. The boots keep your feet warm and protected in unreliable conditions. If they get muddy, simply clean them with a damp cloth and they’re good as new.

If you do order a pair, expect them to be a bit heavier than your typical boot. But they can immediately be taken outside, and you can trust their composition will hold strong on adventures in Western Colorado this season.
